Reporting a problem with a file

A good report helps us fix things quickly. Please include:

  • The tool you used and the options you chose.
  • The kind of file (for example XLSX from Excel, or a CSV exported from Tally or SAP).
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead, including any message shown.
  • Your browser and device, for example Chrome on Windows or Safari on an iPhone.

Please do not send files with real personal or confidential data. SheetTidy never sees your files, and we would rather keep it that way. A few rows with made-up values that show the same problem are ideal.

Before you write

  • The guides cover the most common problems, such as dates showing as numbers or a CSV opening in one column.
  • The privacy page explains how your files are handled (they never leave your device).
